As managing partner, Lukas André is responsible for the daily operations of Affentranger Associates. He joined affentranger associates early 2009. Since then he has been actively involved in the development of the portfolio companies and corporate finance mandates. He is member of the Board of Directors of SIRS-Lab
From 1998 until 2008 he co-founded and developed (as CEO) several start-up companies in the IT industry (Berne Byte Bears, André-Netline and Q-Company).
Lukas André holds a master degree of Science in Business Administration from the University of Berne with emphasis on finance and valuation. He wrote his master thesis on selection criteria and valuation methods used by venture capital firms and business angels to assess start-up companies (SECA Booklet Nr. 2).
